Bandcamp started waiving their revenue share back in 2020 to help artists get through the early months of the pandemic. That practice continues, and this today—August 1st—they're doing it again. If you’ve ever wanted to support independent musicians more directly, this is one of the best ways to do it.
I released a double album earlier this year called Laeh Su Tel!—a project that’s been forming in my heart and mind for a long time.
Laeh Su Tel! started as a personal experiment: solo piano improvisations based on political songs from all over the world. A way to explore how sound can express grief, solidarity, resistance, and the ongoing work of healing.
The first part, Psychology in a New Key, is rooted in the idea that music can help us bridge the inner and outer struggles—personal wounds, systemic violence, the search for meaning, the will to resist. The second part, A Healing Sound for the People!, is about collective care, and how healing is never just an individual journey.
If it resonates with you, I’m grateful. If you feel moved to share it or support it, thank you.
